Preparing your Facebook shop for Cyber Monday doesn’t have to be a daunting task. Follow this quick and simple guide to set up a Cyber Monday sale in less than 15 minutes.
1. Open a Facebook shop
If you already have a Facebook shop, great! If not, sign up for a 7-day Facebook store free trial with ShopTab to get started. This the perfect time to test a Facebook store with your fans.
2. Choose your products
Choose 1-5 items that you’d like to sell for Cyber Monday. You might be a bit low on some of your most popular items after Black Friday. If you’re using ShopTab’s integrated cart you’ll be able to input inventory when you add your products so you don’t oversell anything.
3. Create your discount code
ShopTab makes it easy to create promotions without ever leaving Facebook. Here’s a full guide for creating discounts. in your Facebook shop. Remember to always include our Facebook shop smart links in your post, so users on all devices can easily access your products. The simple act of posting about your products with an image and link has been shown to greatly improve your chances of driving sales in your Facebook store.
4. Share, share, share
Post at least 2 times on Cyber Monday, promoting your discount code for your fans. You can promote the code organically or with paid ads (we’d recommend “boosting” a post with a few dollars for the best results on a budget). If you use other marketing strategies (like email), use them to cross promote the discount code you created. Don’t forget to reach out to past customers!
It’s as easy as that. Don’t forget to test different types of discounts after Cyber Monday (for other events or holidays). Use ShopTab’s performance dashboard to measure the results of your efforts.
