ShopTab eCommerce Cart of the Week – VevoCart

Pichpongsa has been involved in software development and IT business for more than 10 years. His recent works have helped contributed to the development of VevoCart, the main product of Vevo Systems Co., Ltd that was first launched in 2006.

VevoCart is a complete ecommerce solution with intuitive and user-friendly interface. The software is written in C# with ASP.NET 2.0 and 3.5. It is easy to use and understand by the merchants. Q: Why did you launch VevoVart?

A: Our team has extensive experiences in software development and real-world ecommerce business. We have found that there is a market for ecommerce software using Microsoft .NET technology.

Q: What features or benefits make VevoVart stand out?

A: We are releasing VevoCart 4.1, which will be fully PCI compliance. This is an important security standard that is enforced by Visa, MasterCard and other credit card brands. VevoCart is one of the most affordable PCI ecommerce solution in the market. It also comes with the full C# source code for customization.

In additional to standard ecommerce functions that our software fully provides, it also provides advanced functionalities such as multilingual, QuickBooks integration via T-Hub software, extensive graphical reports, and Ajax-enabled websites.

Q: How many products will your eCommerce platform allow?

A: VevoCart allows unlimited number of products and categories.

Q: What is the cost for VevoVart service?

A: The software has two editions, Professional and Deluxe. For the current VevoCart 4.0, the Professional edition costs $259 while Deluxe edition costs $350.

Q: What are VevoVart’s future plans for development or additional features?

A: Though we are already PCI-compliance, VevoCart is being audited for PA-DSS by qualified security advisor. We are currently in the final stage for PA-DSS certification.

We are planning to release several advanced ecommerce features, such as Multi-Store, Web Service API.

Q: How is support handled for VevoVart customers?

A: Customers create support ticket either using our web interface or email. A new software license comes with free 6-month support. After that, the customers can pay nominal fees for 30-day support.

Q: Do you have any other comments about VevoCart for ShopTab readers?

A: VevoCart is designed with both merchants and developers in mind. If you are a merchant, you can benefit from numerous sales enhancement features, such as Search-Engine-Optimization, URL Rewriting, related products.

    I purchased this solution to use for one of my clients, i must say the whole experience has been a terrible experience for both of us!

    The support are useless, and dont even know their own product. After sales are very rude and are not willing to help. With constant errors, and issues happening at almost every turn! Most of the issues faced i have had to resolve myself, and then more issues popped up! This is very poorly coded, and is not even worth your time considering.

    For $300 you would expect a little more from the solution however if your looking for a reliable solution, AVOID this at all costs!!

    Issues faced
    - Paypal erroring, or not redirecting to payment screen.
    - Offline Credit card payments erroring if CVV option is enabled (this is due to their VevoPay addon not allowing CVV to be stored)
    - Random Database crashes
    - Site downtime
    - Server Crashes

    These are just some of the issues faced, having to actually re-write code to get things working as they should is not an acceptable support reply!!
